  hi everyone, yet another analysis of a recent watchtower i'm afraid.

  this one's a little closer to home, as it concerns apostates.

  if it wasn't an extremely late (or extremely early) april fools joke, our friend no room for george seems to have departed......from this website.

  apparently falling victim to a devastating love bomb that claimed his ability of thinking for himself and his freedom of heart, mind, body and soul.

  i was wondering if maybe in the future he will be on the convention stage in front of a couple thousand people talking about his "experience".

  this has been posted before but i just was thinking about eph 4:8 where the nwt renders it gifts [in] men while most other bible render it gift's to men.

  i just looked this scripture up in the kindom interlinear and sure enough, it renders the greek as 'gifts to the men'.

  you have got to love the balls that this cult has.

  next sunday is the wt discussion of the infamous july 15th study article "will you heed jehovah's clear warnings?".

  i am pretty curious to see how the congregation comments on the material.

  i was just glancing at the back of the october 15th watchtower and the questions from readers.

  the question under discussion is "what should i do when i have a question about something i read in the bible or when i need advice about a personal problem?".

  the article goes on to discuss how we should consult the watch tower publications index among the many 'tools' that have been provided by the faithful and discreet slave whenever we have a question that is not directly discussed in the publications.. one statement really caught my eye, because it's the first time i've ever seen the society actually dissuade people from writing in with questions.

  TimT- Now I think about the whole situation, I try and look at it with some perspective. This was never about sex, wickedness or rebellion. It was me choosing the way of life which from my experience had caused me the least amount of pain.

  it has been over a month and a half since i have even been on the board, and that really only to ask about gps units (got a tom-tom) and mention the new job.

  way too busy with life - post jw now 4 years.. of course, the new job has benefits, health insurance, etc.

  (including unlimited use of the company car for personal use and the company pays for the unlimited gas for about a $25/week out of my check -- huge benefit) and this has enabled toni and i to finally after a two year engagement, to get married.
